THE Coral Coast Sevens 2025 is set to take place at Lawaqa Park from January 16-18, and once again, entry is completely free.
For seven years, fans have enjoyed this world-class rugby tournament without paying a cent, thanks to the generosity of sponsors like McDonald’s and Tappoo.

McDonald’s Fiji Managing Director Marc McElrath spoke about the tournament’s growth and its impact on the rugby scene in Fiji.
“The event is getting bigger and bigger, we’re seeing more and more international teams, so the level of sevens in the country is getting better, and this presents a bigger challenge for some of our local teams who are playing as well,” McElrath said.
“There’s been a lot of interest expresses for next year as well and the year after,” he said.
This year, the tournament is expected to welcome a strong lineup of local and international teams, promising three days of intense rugby action.
With free entry, fans can simply walk in, find their spot, and enjoy the matches.
