Warwick Hotels and Resorts yesterday, 23 September 2021, announced that they are all fully vaccinated businesses.
These hotels include Warwick Fiji, The Naviti Resort, Tambua Sands Beach Resorts at the Coral Coast and Tokatoka Hotel in Nadi.
They now have the Care Fiji Commitment’s 100 per cent Vaccination stamps which were provided by Tourism Fiji after all the current employees were fully vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The 100 per cent vaccination stamp is an add-on feature to Tourism Fiji’s Care Fiji Commitment programme which was implemented to prioritise health and safety measures and aligns with global safe travel best practise.
Senior vice president and executive director Pacific, Tammie Tam said: “We, at the Warwick group, are committed to provide a safe environment to our guests and staff.
Our president, Mr Richard Chiu, was the first one leading the Warwick group colleagues to get vaccinated in January 2021 in Paris.
In Fiji, we are grateful that our staff recognise the Government’s effort in protecting the population and have come forward to get vaccinated.
“Together with other tourism partners, we will bring happiness back to our workers and visitors and revive the Fijian economy.
“We are looking forward to reopening the Warwick Fiji on 8 October and Tokatoka Resort on 6 October to our local guests and later this year to welcome the international travellers.”
“Naviti Resort and Tambua Sands will come on board at a later date.
“Exciting offers will be out for sale soon.”
